Hello ADARC Members,

Mike Alexander has offered a vintage Hammarlund HQ-110A AM/CW receiver to anyone in the club who may be interested. He would prefer that it go to a ham radio enthusiast rather than be discarded.

According to Mike:

• Model: Hammarlund HQ-110A
• All tubes are present.
• The tube filaments light up.
• The rectifier tube has been replaced with silicon diodes.
• Without an antenna connected, the receiver produces audio from the speaker.
• The frequency calibration feature produces its normal calibration tone.
• Overall operating condition is unknown.
• Original owner’s manual and schematic diagram are included.

Mike is currently offering the receiver free of charge before considering disposal. Photos from his August 12 email are attached for reference.
